I made a change to my custom save dialog and I now have this problem

The problem is that clicking on a PDF file opened with the default PDF viewer shows a dialog from Acrobat Reader. If you go to your desktop Settings and open "Appearance", you can find there the option "Open File Types with". You can disable Acrobat Reader in the list by clicking on it and delete it to go back to the one you can use instead.
