Keygen

If you do run dnssec-keygen in parallel with ssh-keygen then you have to ensure that you don't end up with the same key being generated twice. You could add a loop to the dnssec-keygen process that checks the current key, and if it matches, then just abort the process, but that might not be ideal.
If you need to regenerate the key pair on each reboot then you have to use the system's own keypair generator (ssh-keygen). The dnssec-keygen tool is really just the thing to regenerate the existing keypair, not the thing to create it.
I'd like to enforce that OpenSSH's ssh-keygen uses /dev/random instead of/dev/urandom to make sure there was enough entropy when generating the keypair. This might block I know but this might be ok for this task.Any way to do that? I can set env var RANDFILE=/dev/random to make OpenSSL useit. But this has no impact on ssh-keygen.Ciao, Michael.
Since ssh-keygen is a utility in most of the Linux OS, it is not considered part of the installation of an ESXi server. However, you may find it on the list of /usr/bin or /opt/vmware/bin.
Compatibility mode: generates an old-style key, without any metadata. By default, dnssec-keygen will include the key's creation date in the metadata stored with the private key, and other dates may be set there as well (publication date, activation date, etc).
I have a setup where I am trying to script a file copy with scp of a.tgz backup of a VM to a remote server. I don't want the remote box to prompt for a password, so I want to generate a key pair and copy the.pub key to the remote host. However, the all walkthroughs I can find use the ssh-keygen utility, which is not available in ESXi 5.
-F Causes ssh-keygen to try the private key file named.ssh/id_dsa if it is not already loaded (which it usually isn't). If this file exists, it will be used, and the private key filename will be ignored.
-v Causes ssh-keygen to be verbose, including printing warnings about existing files and asks before overwriting them. If this option is set to -v or more, then the command will stop at the end of its output.
If another hacker does this, then they will be able to put any game on the ps3 in a matter of minutes! and that means that Sony will be out of the console market for good. We have seen what happens when sony doesn't support games anymore. Nintendo is turning a profit, now it is time for Sony to do the same, or else they are dead.
I don't see the appeal of owning a Sony PS3, and I don't see the value of the PS3 as an entertainment device. Sony has become one of the most untrustworthy companies in the gaming industry in my eyes. 827ec27edc
